“Quien desconoce la historia, está condenado a repetirla”, esta frase, atribuida al militar francés Napoleón Bonaparte, condensa en buena parte la intención del libro. A veces para tratar de explicar algo es mejor empezar por decir lo que no es ese algo. “100 MIRADAS…” no es la historia del Metal Colombiano, no es la recopilación de las portadas más importantes, no es una cátedra ni mucho menos un dogma. Simplemente es un documento que pretende dejar testimonio de las imágenes que complementaron la propuesta musical de determinado grupo o músico.
